For what it is worth.

Purchase endurabond which is a very good sealant for motor homes. It comes in 4" by various lengths. I think mine was 50 feet.
I went on the roof with ladder and began to remove all old caulking and sealant. I allowed everything to dry out in hot sunlight. I resealed all seams, skylights, aerials, vents, everything with endurabond. Even with diagram, I believe it is nothing but hard work stripping, cleaning and resealing your home. My motor home, a 89 EMC is dry and in good shape. A good roof is everything just like on your house.
