gas tank switch
Good day
We just purchased an 1989 El Dorado motor home sitting on a Ford 350 chassis.
The owner tryed to explain how the gas switches worked but I missed something, maybe somebody
can explain a little better. Under the left side steering wheel there are two switches one says
(Transfer on/off the other front/rear). It has two gas tanks one 50 gal. and one 25 gal. The gas gage doesn't
work either. An information anybody can give me would greately appreciated. Thanks

Front Rear tank switch
I'm guessing the one that says front rear is the correct one. However is this a class "C" mini home? With the Ford Van Dash? If it is, the tank switch would be like a Ford Pickup would be. The other switch "transfer" that you are talking about, I'm not sure what that switch is, and I would have to see a picture to see if it was a factory installed switch.
