El Dorado Class C 1988, Chassie 1989 Prelude

Hi, my name is Don and we live in Kansas near Wichita. We have long wanted to become RV'ers and now have our first seroius opportunity. We have been offered an 1988/1989 Chassie, C Model Prelude. I think it is a 29 footer. Can anyone provide information on this model. Is this a good opportunity here. What were they like? What are some of the drawback perhaps with this model. We would gladly accept any bit of knowledge or wisdom here. Thank you.
